1       Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.

1.2 Apologies were received from Rhun Ap Iorwerth AM. Bethan Jenkins AM substituted for Rhun.

 

2       Inquiry into medical recruitment - evidence session 10 - Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport

2.1 The Committee received evidence from the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport, the Chief Medical Officer and the Director of Workforce & Organisation Development.

2.2 The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport agreed to provide the Committee with numbers from the first round of GP training places.

6.1 The Committee discussed the key issues that have arisen during scrutiny of the Welsh Government’s draft national dementia strategy ahead of the preparation of its draft letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Well-being and Sport.
